Shinewater  park  is a relatively new park to Eastbourne and is the most developed area of what is known as Eastbourne park, this stretches as far as St Anthony’s, Eastbourne DGH, Hampden Park and North  Langney.

The fact that it is new in no way detracts from what an amazing site Shinewater park is.

We, as the community group, have been asked by the council to set up a Friends of Shinewater Park to help manage the park and to contribute to what happens to the area in the future. If you would like to have your voice heard then please come along to the committee meetings of The Friends of Shinewater Park, at the Shinewater Community centre on advertised dates (see notice board).  This is a community led project with no outside influence or financial help from either Borough or county council. The councils are very supportive of setting up the group though and would like to wish us every success in this new and exciting project.
